🎴Oh yeah, and whatever the heck those tarot cards are for...?

 Look, I get it. Here’s the thing: those things aren’t what you need right now. Sure, they’re pretty (and friend, if you want it, get it. You can’t f*ck it up, promise).

What you need now is something educational, actionable, and implementable. You need the actual daily steps to take (and how to take them). It’s time to take “the woo” and make it work for you. In an easy, approachable, non-intimidating way. No saging your cat or learning the moon phases required. 🌚

Jokes aside, you can  work on your mindset without special tools, witchy brews, or anything else. If you want that to be a part of your practice—great—do it. But first things first, you need to actually create your practice. That’s where the Daily Mindset Method comes into play.


After spending years cultivating my own mindset practice, getting certified as an Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner and hypnotherapist (among other things), and moving into 1:1 coaching, I learned something pretty huge: successful people believe in their ability to create success.

The secret to Successful Sarah isn’t that she beat some algorithm or mastered Facebook Ads. It’s her MIND. Belief is 99% of what matters.

But on the other hand, you might feel more like Stuck Susan. Stuck Susan keeps trying strategy after strategy, investing in program after program, and never hitting her goals. She’s had some success here and there but every time she tries to burst into the next-level version of herself, she gets pushed back down by some invisible ceiling that apparently exists.

 

Sound familiar? Even if you feel like Stuck Susan right now, you can become Successful Sarah and become someone who DOES believe in their big dreams — and ACTUALLY makes them happen.

I’ve worked with a lot of Stuck Susans. In fact, I’ve been one myself. I’ve noticed that we all tend to make similar mistakes that keep us Stuck Susans. 

🗓 FIRST, WE THINK THAT WE’RE WAY TOO BUSY FOR MINDSET WORK.

Raise your hand if you think you’re really busy. I can see you all the way through the internet right now.. Busy, busy, busy. But here’s a question: busy doing what? 

Anything that actually matters? Anything that’s actually moving the needle forward in your life and business? Anything that’s making you more money, or getting you more visible, or allowing you to be more confident? Or just a bunch of busy work that you think you’re supposed to do (and have no idea the actual impact it makes on your business)?

Working on your mindset seems like a luxury to many, not a necessity. And that’s why there are so few uber successful business owners. The ones who do prioritize their mindset… they make it. They make a lot of money, a lot of impact, and actually enjoy the process. Everyone else is stuck saying, “I’ll work on that when I have more time…”

You’re never going to have more time, truthfully. You have to create the time and choose to prioritize your growth and development. Your business growth cannot and will not exceed your personal growth. 💣

📝 THE SECOND MISTAKE IS THAT WE THINK STRATEGY IS THE ONLY THING TO FOCUS ON.

So we put all of our energy into finding the right strategy. I did this for a while in my business, too. Want to know something funny? There are a lot of great strategies to find success, money, impact, customers, clients, etc. for your business. Like a lot of great strategies. And they all work in one way or another for people. Which, I guess kind of means… They don’t matter that much.

Let me clarify — sure, having strategies for growth and leads and all that matter.

But here’s how you find and use a strategy: Step 1: Decide the strategy. Step 2: Take the steps to implement it.

SIMPLE. Except… most people will struggle and resist the actual implementation. And guess what? That has NOTHING to do with the strategy and EVERYTHING to do with their… you guessed it, MINDSET.

Only focusing on which strategy to implement and not paying attention to your mindset is like really focusing hard on which low-calorie, whole-wheat bread to buy at the grocery store - and then eating it all in one sitting. Ends up being a waste of time, right? The implementation of strategies is what matters and that boils down to your mindset.

💔 THE LAST BIG MISTAKE IS THIS BOGUS IDEA OF POSITIVE VIBES ONLY!

This is perpetuated by Instagram and self-help gurus and I’m calling bullshit on that right here and now. If all it took was thinking “I’m a millionaire!” over and over again then… well, you’d be one. There’s a few more layers to the positivity onion and that’s what we’re going to cover inside The Daily Mindset Method.

When you’re a member of the “I gotta be positive ALL THE TIME” camp one day you’ll feel bad and then you spend the next week beating yourself up about it and feeling bad that you felt bad that one day (leading to more bad).
